Listings
for wedding vendors are listed under Banner Advertisements in
the following order:
- Listings with links to their web sites (in alphabetical order*).
- Listings without a link to a web site (also in alphabetical
order*).
*Alphabetical Order:
We alphabetize Listings by business
name (by the first name of a Listing), using guidelines
similar to the way business names are alphabetized in the white
pages of the phone book.
Of special note:
A business name that starts with a number is alphabetized as if
the number were spelled out. For example:
- 1st Wedding Company would be alphabetized
as if the business name were First Wedding Company.
- 4th Dimension Video would be alphabetized
as if the business name were Fourth Dimension Video.
One thing we do differently from the phone books
is if a business name starts with the word The, we alphabetize
that name using the second word. For example:
- The Elegant Wedding Company would be alphabetized
as if the business name started with an E, not with a T.
- The Wedding Company would be alphabetized
as if the business name started with a W, not with a T.
Using fictitious names, below is a sample of how
we would alphabetize the following business names.
